Production Blog: Starting Off
First, I came up with a schedule that me and my group members all agreed on. This schedule discusses the filming dates and what my group will do each day we plan on filming. I strategically made the schedule to work around events that are coming up.
Next, I asked my group about the editing software we are planning on using. We were going back and forth with which we wanted to use but I help narrow down the one we are going to use, which is CapCut. I wanted to use CapCut because I have previously used it and I know the way around the app so I can help my group members if any issues occur.
Also, I have helped create the plan for our music video. My music video will need two different houses so, I came up with two places where we can film. I have to ask for permission by the house owners and if I am granted access then my group will have the places figured out.
Finally, my music video will need a variety of props. I created the idea of gathering props from people we know or from cheap places to keep a small budget. This is because we have most of the props in our homes as everyday items.
Me and my group have taken the steps necessary for filming. However, we need to sort out a few more details to have a more structured and ideal plan. Overall, I have made a few impacts in the group that I find are essential to creating this music video.
In my next few blogs I will be discussing the filming and editing process so watch out for those as they will be great to read! See you next time! Hailey out!
