Production Blog
Hello everybody! Welcome back to my blog! I am your writer, Hailey Casella, as always and today I will continue explaining the production of my commercial.
I last talked about adding clips and thinking about transitions. In my first production blog I explained the software, CapCut, I am using. Now that we are all caught up let me begin to update on my further progress.
In Production Blog #2 I provided the topic of having possible transitions. I was undecided as to which transitions I would select to use in my commercial. Since then I have made the decision to use basic cut transitions rather than advanced ones. This is because I feel as though the commercial will look smoother in transitioning between different pictures and videos that show the aspects of my life. This may change in the future so when you are watching be on the lookout!
After I achieve this I will combine all my clips together with either effects, text, or any other cool aspects in which I can make my commercial show my personality. I am still weighing out which song(s) option I will add to my commercial. I want my music to relate to me and the editing style shown in the commercial. As I am still choosing I do have an idea of which I will want to use. The first song is upbeat and fun but I am not sure if I like this choice for my full commercial. Another song choice I have in mind has a slower beat and tone where my commercial will have slower transitions.
When I continue in production blog #4, I will provide the rest of my commercial producing process. We are getting close to the release date of my commercial! I am super excited to share with all of you and I hope you are too! See you all soon! Thank you for reading today's blog. Once again, Hailey out!
