Group Blog

Hi media fans!! My new project is going to be a music video! I am super excited to work on this project and I am extra excited because I have the ability to work with others as a group. So, in this blog I'll explain to you the members I have chosen to work with, why I chose them, and what song we are going to do for our music video. 

For my first member, I chose one of my best friends, Marissa. The reason I wanted her to be in my group is because I know that since we are close friends, we will work good together on screen and in general. I am super excited to work with Marissa because we share many of the same thoughts and ideas. Also, we tend to lean towards the same styles of shows and the editing, filming, and acting. 

Next, I chose another one of my close friends, Kylee. As the music video has many components, I have chosen her to help with editing and song choice. Me and Kylee have the same music and editing taste/style so I know we will agree on these aspects of the project. I also really wanted Kylee in my group because she is good with coming up with scenes and ideas for our music video. 

Finally, I decided to work with my close friend, Stella. She is good with recording and angles/shots in pictures and videos so I believe that she can do good with filming the music video. Stella also has great ideas for angles, what to film and where. I have trust in her that she will make the video look amazing with backgrounds and the movement of the camera. 

Our song choice for the music video will be 'Gone Girl' by SZA. She is an R&B artist and me and my groups members really enjoy listening to her. The song is about SZA moving on from a relationship. However, my group will most likely show moving on from a town, or starting a new life somewhere else. 

Like my last project, I will have production blogs explaining the process of creating this music video. However, they will be different since our group will have to film, act, and edit. I am beyond excited to work with my group members on this project and I can't wait to start filming it. I hope you enjoy these next few blogs as I will. Like always, Hailey out!
