Final Task Production: Music
For this part of the project my group and I collaborated and tried different music choices that would flow the best throughout out project. It was important to me that our music really matched the background, being the video. I really wanted to make sure that the genre was shown throughout as well as the harsh shift from harmless and playful to ending horribly.
From the beginning of this process it was important that we did not use music that is not owned by us. So, we had the option of using our own music or music found on Royalty Free Music. We could have used music that we do not have rights to but I remembered that we would have to contact the owners and gain permission. Since we did not have time for this process we went with using Royalty Free Music. The only thing I was unsure of with using this was how common this music may have been within others projects but it was the best option so I agreed.
After we discussed where we would obtain this music, I told my groupmates that the music is one of the most important parts. We took a while to choose which music would go amazingly with our video. We did some trial runs and I suggested different clips that we may have not usually chosen. Surprisingly, I suggested one clip that sounded great for the beginning of our project and my group agreed. Then, we found other music types for other parts and we reviewed our project with the music and it flowed great!
Now you know how essential the music is in this project! That is all I have to share today! I hope you enjoyed this blog. Make sure you come back for the next one for more information on my group and I's progress in this final task. Thank you for coming back today. See ya next time! Hailey out!
