Final Task Production: Wrapping Up Filming

Welcome back everyone! I am super excited for this blog because its all about me! Just kidding!! But, I really am super excited because we have already finished recording all of our scenes for the final task. So, let us begin already! 

We last left off on filming with Marissa's brother. Here is some more details on how that went. Even though we only recorded one scene with him it, it was DIFFICULT! Since we are all so close trying to stay serious in the close up of him putting on the mask was very hard without bursting out laughing. Who knew the shortest scene would take the most amount of time to nail down but once we did it turned out pretty well. Now, let's move on to the new scenes and details of our finished, final task.  

For our second day of filming, we recorded at my house, again at nighttime. The whole point of my opening scenes was to act as if Marissa, Kylee, and I were going out to hang so the facetime call all seemed normal to me. We first recorded me walking into my room and sitting down at my desk after showering. As the only actor in this scene it was a little awkward but I was reminding myself to act natural, since I normally sit at my desk after showering either way. It was only awkward since I, of course, had a camera following my every steps. 

Once I sat at the desk we recorded me receiving a facetime call from Marissa and Kylee on my computer. This part was not hard for me but Marissa and Kylee struggled when trying to set up the camera angle to ensure the angle was good enough to view each character on the computer call. Luckily, I have a tripod in my room which I remembered I had and we set it up perfectly. Afterwards, we recorded us talking on facetime and this part was easy because Marissa and Kylee were not in the room so there were no distractions. 

Then we recorded the scary scenes which I had a blast recording. We moved throughout my house which at night has an eerie vibe due to the decorations so the setting matched the mysterious atmosphere in these scenes perfectly.
